Structural, Connection, and Construction Engineering

Chris has a varied experience in structural engineering, working on commercial, industrial, public bridge, healthcare, government, and other project types. He has experience with the design and analysis of several different building materials, however the majority of his experience is in the structural steel industry. Chris has been involved in all stages of a structural steel project, from conceptual design, contract document preparation, fabrication services, to installation services.

Chris is responsible for the execution of engineering and deliverable preparation on several projects concurrently with RexConn Design. Activities include design and analysis of complex tasks, review of team staff engineering work, preparation of design drawings and sketches, and communication with clients to achieve project objectives and schedules. Project types include structural steel connection design, fall protection design, lifting device design, temporary construction support design, building stability analysis during erection, and design of stability bracing during building erection.

Chris's experience prior to RexConn Design also was heavily focused in the structural steel industry. Structural engineering services for structural steel fabricators and erectors were a large portion of his experience. The project types include structural steel connection design, building stability analysis and design of temporary bracing during erection, engineered heavy crane lifts, lifting device design, renovation of heavy industrial structural steel buildings, field fixes for damaged or deteriorated structural steel structures, and temporary construction support design and implementation.
